From Surgery to State Champion: A Comeback Story

In April 2024, Jayda—a dedicated athlete with her eyes set on greatness—underwent shoulder surgery performed by Dr. Steven Giuseffi of Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center. Less than a year later, in February 2025, she made an inspiring return to the mat and clinched the Montana state wrestling title at 170 lbs. 

Jayda’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible with perseverance, expert care, and a relentless spirit. We are incredibly proud to have been part of her recovery and success story.
