Elise Lewis, PT, DPT
Elise was born and raised in a small town in rural South Africa. She moved to the United States on a golf scholarship and graduated from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology. She then pursued a position as a graduate assistant on the Briar Cliff University men’s and women’s golf teams, where she graduated as the distinguished student in kinesiology and human performance graduate program. Discovering the beauty of the Black Hills, she moved here and started working as a certified health coach for Profile by Sanford and was teaching multiple courses as an adjunct professor for the kinesiology and human performance program at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. This is the same college where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree as well and graduated with the top student in research award.
When Elise is not at work or playing golf, she is most likely helping her husband on their Black Angus ranch or running after her son and dog somewhere in the Black Hills.
