Myron Phillip Sorestad, PT
Myron is a physical therapist who enjoys treating a diversity of orthopedic conditions. He has a special interest in the rehabilitation of nonoperative and operative conditions of the spine. Myron has received extensive instruction in orthopedic manual therapy for the spine and extremities, utilizing these techniques in conjunction with therapeutic exercises to treat deficiencies in mobility, motor control, strength, and functional performance.
Myron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from the University of Saskatchewan in 1989. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992. Myron has practiced in Rapid City, South Dakota, since 1992 and has been employed by ProMotion Physical Therapy since 1997.
Myron is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He has been a medical provider for the Rapid City Rush professional hockey team since the team’s inaugural season in 2008 to 2009. Myron has certification in the administration of the ErgoScience Physical Work Performance Evaluation to assist in work injury management.
