Dr. Christopher Dietrich is a member of The Rehab Doctors team, and he sees patients at The Spine Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. Specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Dietrich holds board certifications in pain medicine, sports medicine, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. A native of Huron, South Dakota, he earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and completed his residency and specialized training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his tenure at Mayo, Dr. Dietrich earned the position of chief resident.

In addition to his role at The Rehab Doctors, Dr. Dietrich holds the position of director at the Rapid City Concussion Project. He also serves as a visiting physician at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, is a Titleist Performance Institute Level 3 Certified Evaluator, and acts as a team physician for the United States Ski Team. Dr. Dietrich's involvement in medical associations encompasses serving as the 137th President of the South Dakota State Medical Association, vice president of the Black Hills Medical Society, and cochair of the ethics committee at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

He currently serves on the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. Recognized for his contributions, Dr. Dietrich has received several awards, including the PASSOR Excellence in Research Award, Mayo PM&R Jayanthi Charitable Foundation Outstanding Research Award, Earl Elkins Mayo PM&R Resident Award, South Dakota State Medical Association’s Outstanding Young Physician Award, and the Community Service Award. He has also served as a president for the South Dakota State Medical Association.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Dietrich holds academic positions as a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Dietrich and his wife Angie are actively engaged in various community activities. He serves as the president of Post 22 Baseball Parents, Inc. He has also been a previous president for the Rushmore Hockey Association and safety director of Canyon Lake Little League. He is also a board member at St. Thomas More School. Dr. Dietrich is also a dedicated youth coach for multiple sports, including Rushmore Hockey Association, Canyon Lake Little League, Team South Dakota Hockey, Rapid City Youth Soccer League, Black Hills Rapids Soccer Club, and Black Hills Thunder Baseball.
