The physicians associated with Black Hills Surgery Center of Wyoming, LLC, are active members of a number of organizations that provide healthcare goods and services. As owner-members of these organizations, our physicians are able to provide a strong influence on the quality, cost, and effectiveness of the services and goods that are part of the healthcare delivered to our patients. We recognize that you will want to know of the financial relationships of our physicians with any organization that is also involved in the provision of your healthcare services.
We also want to provide our patients with notice of the various investment and financial interests of the physicians of Black Hills Surgery Center of Wyoming, LLC.
Our physicians are owner-members of the following healthcare-related facilities and organizations:
- Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming, P.C.
- Black Hills Surgical Hospital, LLP
- Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center, P.C.
You have the right to request services at the provider or facility of your choice and are not required to use the facility suggested by your physician. Please advise your physician of your concern and you will be referred to another comparable facility.
You will not be treated differently by Black Hills Surgery Center of Wyoming, LLC, Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine Center of Wyoming, P.C., or by your physician if you choose to not use the products, facilities, or services initially recommended by your physician. Not all alternative products, facilities, and services are comparable and accessible for the surgeon to use, however. Your surgeon is a member of the medical staff of Black Hills Surgical Hospital, LLP, and either Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Gillette, WY, or Monument Health, Rapid City, SD, and will work to provide you with appropriate products and services at the facility most convenient for you that offers the level of care that you need.
